Have a look at these links...

http://forums.corral.net/forums/showthr ... ht=patriot

http://bbs.hardcore50.com/vbulletin/sho ... riot+heads

Basic gist, they are chinese copies of AFR 185s, and appear to suffer from poor casting issues.

They are a slightly improved version of a Pro-Comp head... That is all I have to say about them. There are problems with core shift, and QC is not the best. Put aside some extra $$$ and look at RHS, Edelbrock, Trickflow and AFR.

You got it!! Its a shame the Aussie $$ has dropped again, I was seriously looking at some 205cc CNC'd Trickflows.

As much as we want the dollar up for importing V8 stuff, we really don't want up for our export market.

Yes low Aussie dollar is good for our farmers.
But bad for importers of US performance parts ;)

Yeah I got lucky with importing something at just under 95 cents and by the time I got it here the dollar was worth 84 cents, now it is just over 82 cents.
