im just after some ideas on the costs to get my heads shaved flat, and have my heads re assembled again.

How flat are we talking about, if it's just to correct any warpage then the usual is give or take $50 a head if you give them the head. Otherwise shop around and you can get a pair done with new valves and bronze guides for around $750. The higher performance you want the more the cost you can spend thousands on heads.

yeah im just after getting them flat, they already have bronze guides etc in them, i had a repair made to them and i want to make sure that they are right before i put them on, plus im not too confident on putting the heads together myself. i have all the pieces.

If its just a shave and assenble with lapping then you shouldn't get charged more than around $100 a head.

thanks mate, yeah im not too keen on lapping my valves in etc, id rather fork out a bit of cash and know that they are done right and not have to worry about them.
