i got a few quotes to fix my gearbox ; $1650 for just the rebuild, $1850 for a stage one and $2200 for stage 2

is this an average price and is it worth it or can it be done cheaper?

also wondering if anyone has a recoed 4speed

What Model is it in? - Im pulling out a good nick one out of my EF in 2 weeks. Its a rebuilt ED one (Rebuilt 2 yrs ago). Works great, no slipping. its in FS section and im a little negotiable.

Bugger - this one wont work for you (its a6)

You could see if FTG has one and can ship it, or look around.

... Go Manual (speak to Mal Wood Automotive at Warwick)

Or... go with the rebuild.
