Thought someone might find this interesting, my mate just bought one of the newer G-tech Performance meters...he averaged a 15 sec quarter in his BA Fairmont (V8) which seemed about right. Just for kicks they put it in a Petrol Toyota Prado which averaged around the 16.5 sec and a best of 16.4. I finally got to run it in my V8 Fairlane (NL)...my best run was 16.5 and I averaged around the 16.9 with a few 17+ sec in there. I'm not that suprised with the Fairlanes results but the Prado really shocked me ! We're yet to line up side by side which is really the only way to be certain, but sheesh, I don't hold too much hope... Does anyone else have any figures for the V8 Fairlane... I still have an electrical issue with the Fairlane and want to know if I should be moving a bit quicker than this ?

Should be quicker than that, I get low 15's. And really, all I have really done to the engine is extractors.
