just bought some new bits for my 5 litre NC, rotor/dizzy cap/plugs.

the book recommends a 1.4mm gap for these motors, is that true or have people found that a different gap works better. running petrol only no LPG.

also if i change these things and the air filter fuel filter etc. what sort of economy might i expect to see in around town driving out of these engines? still getting it rwc so havnt drivin it yet

My plugs are gapped to about .040, or 1mm, but they're not the standard plugs.

Fuel economy will be governed by your right foot. Around town though, you'd probably be looking at 14-15 l/100km
