I have a 1/1996 NF Fairlane Ghia V8. It starts and drives fine. Sometimes, when I stop and turn car off then come back and try to start, it sounds like a flat battery. Won't turn over. After a turn of the key a couple of times, it then turns over. It runs and drives fine.
Every morning it starts fine. Jusat after driving a while it won't turn over.

If it only happens when the engine is hot then try adding a start relay or it could be the heat causing the starter to play up.

Problem now solved. I purchased and fitted new starter.
No worries any more.
