I have used the ford one too. From MotoCraft. Got to admit i didn't really notice a lot of difference.

your motors got to be high mileage and really carboned up to notice much different apart from a smoother idle (its great to clean throttlebodies though)

I used to use this on my STi every oil change, got my cousin to by some for his and told him ill show him how to use it, should have seen the look on his face when plumes of white smoke were coming out the exhaust , he thought I blew his engine as it was spluttering and shaking -was like a summernats burnout, poor bastard almost had a heartattack. (never told him how it works  )

The only reason Subaru use them is because of the boxer engine design lets heaps of carbon build up along the top. Holden and Fords design dont really let it accumilate extensively as the subis do.

I stripped my whole top end off the car and used 2 cans of throttle body cleaner inside everything - EGR, throttle body, lower manifold, upper manifold (1 can by itself), all parts internally looked like new when dried.

Car idles so much more smotther, revs easier, but my economy is still crap :x

Well I work for Subaru and we use this stuff in EVERY Subaru from the pov packs to the STi and for our personal applications. We run it through our little 4 bangers up to the Eights and we as the mechanics havent had anything wrong with our cars, if anything it helps the run better.

The service schedule for this stuff is every 12,500km OR every 6 months, whichever comes first.

Cheers

So which intake breather hole or vacumn hose do we use to spray it in? Because I can't remember seeing any on my intake tube?
