EB-EL V8's have EGR, the AU's did not and thats why some initially suffed from pinging problems.

Yeah sorry your right. Hotter temperatures enable the formation of nitrogen oxides in the combustion chamber therefore EGR decreases temperature to stop this from forming.

Its not just 5.0 that have EGR, plenty of cars have them
