Well ladies and gentlemen, as some of you have seen the 5.0 has been turning some serious numbers at the strip lately, but that is all about to change.
Work for the next couple of months will include a full respray, a retrim on the interior, and a SERIOUS engine build. Am looking at a 347 stroker(possible a 355 as i have a 4MAB crank) a set of AFR185(or 205's) a conversion to manual, a set of lower diff gears and a change from a dry NOS kit to a Nitrous Works Wet Kit. The target figure is 450hp from a HO block. Just letting all and sundry know what is going on and will keep you updated as the lot progresses Brett

Plan is for a low 11 or high 10. But need to be mindful that a ten will incur the addition of a cage, and better than 140 will require a chute. I intend running these times on street tyres
 . Will keep you all advised

did i get you looking at the wet NOS kits did i?, lol
yeah the wet kits are the way to go, plus less chance on blowing it. i was looking at a 347 stroker kit to with forged pistons and stuff from scat the kit was $2.800 i think. go the ghia!.....well both of them yours and mine 
what colour you going to go? inside and out, and you going leather? Storm

Just keep the rev's down.. we dont want to see u splitting ur block! Maybe consider a Dart block?

Yep T56. The paint will be a stock blue resplay, replace front and rear bars, headlights and drivers front guard, and remove all dents (basically a resto job on the body) and yes i am just repairing the factory leather

Nope, just repair the factory leather, other than the bonnet bulge and the new rims, will look like a stocker, ultimate q car???

Due to an unfortunate screw up at work, the Ghia will not be progressing as planned. Was due at the panel beaters next friday, but i wont be going O/S for a while now, so time will tell as to when this work begins. Keep you all advised.
