Hi all. I can't get more than 310kms out of a tank 'round town in the wagon. It is sucking about 22-23 per 100. I am not even flogging it! The car is still standard & I will shortly be going the pacey's & 2 1/2" plumbing. It seems to be running fine so why the thirst?

Cheers

Try O2 sensors, MAF, TPS and air filter mate, as a starting point.

All the above would be possible causes.

*Clean the MAF and T/B with carby cleaner.

*Check/Replace o2 sensors.

*Check/Replace water temp sensor.

But on a different note, i went away this long weekend and took my EB for its first long trip since i owned it. I managed to get 595 kms out of 60 lts which i couldnt believe. Thats 10l/100kms. Noral around town driving i usually get around 460-480 kms per tank.
