Im after the big end and main cap torque specs for a ho engine, both of my books have different specs.
Does 30-35 nm for the big ends and 90 nm for the mains sound right, or does 45 ftlb for big ends and 105ftlb for the mains sound right
The first specs are from max ellerys and the second are from how to rebuild a ford smallblock.
Cheers Milo

How to rebuild your smallblock ford says; " 95-105ft lbs for the 351 and 60-70ft lbs for the others"
A 302 is "the others"
For rods; 19-24ft lbs for 221,260,289,and 302 engines and 40-45ft lbs for the HP289, Boss 302 and 351W"
So there is no difference in the specs between books.

Just follow the 289/302 specs. The f**k wits put 302HO with the 351.
