the tps is playing games on my rebuilt trans, main problem is it will cause the auto to down shift early and upshift when rolling ( been sourced because of the tps).

My problem is, i keep adjusting the tps and voltage goes up after i have set it over time. I have file'd out the tps with longer screws and adjusted to under 1v however the voltage goes up and over 1v and i have to keep re-adjusting (yes tps is secure and does not move). Im at the point where i cant file anymore becasue there is no TPS left!!!! Its over 1.2volts atm and i cant swivel it any more.

why is it doing this and how do i fix it?. i have an au tps, however iv got the engine and auto wires going into the standard EB tps, so ther is 6 wires vs 3 from the AU. Are there aftermarket tps that will suit an au t/b but match an eb wiring?

maybe just replace it with a new one?
