Thanks Griffo,

It goes better than the turbo but it's probably going to be the same over the quarter because it's harder to get off the line...turbo was an auto.
I have place where I test how quick I can get to 200k. The GT gets there a bit quicker yet I started the run later. With the turbo you need to get up it earlier. The GT is much more refined in the handling dept too and sounds way better than the turbo. Of course it won't be long before it has an Eaton M122 on it either

Thanks Jimmy!

I thought you liked the wine thingy you were doing?
Yeah it was good how the car came with one of Bazza's kits.
And yes I'm hopeless, within half an hour of picking it up I'd gone up to BPT and picked up some U/D pulleys, Helix plate and Oil separator

yeah i do enjoy my wine work but i really want pump some serious cash into my xr8 now. and i can allways get back into the wine industry.

plus if i get over to w.a i can utilise the huge ford scene as im confident its far bigger over there. only thing is will my xr8 make rwc over there.

i spoke to snort bout a tt kit theyre are in the process or testing and have told them that when its ready i will pay a solid deposit. so i really want to make some cash and do the job properly rather then just blowing my car up...

but change isnt allways a bad thing and i enjoy the surf up in wa. so i should feel right at home

Ahh no wuckers. I not sure the Ford Scene is that "big" over here but it's certainly growing.
Anyway come and say g'day when you get here.

I'll use one of your lines.
Put a 351 Windsor in it.

That's a fallacy. They just need to be driven properly to take into account the extra weight up front. When I first got mine I had the same thought, now I can throw it around with no problems.

My last trip out to Oran Park was with a bunch of FPV's, and the GT's were doing better than the F6's
