my bpt race series set bolted straight on.
i didnt install the alternator one as it seemed basically the same size as the factory one.
it doesnt fully charge at idle but as soon as you take off full charge no dramas.
may consider selling the set soon if anyone is interested.

How much for all three? I was considering getting a set of BBK ones and having them machined, they seem to be an actual brand unlike all the other eBay ones.

I've had two BPT sets on both 5.0 and 5.8....they work great! The alternator pulley is smaller to speed it back up again...if you have charging problems; use the pulley! I have never had charging or cooling problems.
I have a set on my 5.4 now and have no problems there either.
You'll gain about 12-18lb/ft over the entire rev range...the best performance bang for the buck out there.
Be careful with ally ones as often they are s**t material and will actually wear out.
They should be heat treated and hard anodised if you want ally ones to last.

When you talk about alloy ones wearing out, are the blue anodized ones that Trickflow make, any good compared to the BBK etc polished alloy, in terms of wear? Why are steel drives so much cheaper than alloy ones? You can get a set of steel ones for $20 off eBay, or the same thing in alloy is $85.

Are all underdrive pulleys 25% as some sellers put "25% under driven" in their auction blurb. And if buying a set of USA pulleys, what exactly needs to be machined to fit?

Cheers.
