Hi guys, no one has answered my topic in gearbox forum, this is urgent, could someone please tell me what oz i need for my 5ltr, i am doing the manual conversion and have been told its a 50oz?? i was looking at a yella terra flywheel but was told they dont make 50oz fly's??

I take it you mean the counter weight for the flywheel. A 50oz flywheel would be very very light lol. I was under the impression the efi 5.0 ran a 28oz imbalance, and the early 5.0(carby) had the 50oz, but maybe someone else can help ya.

50oz is it.
28oz is for pre '82 5.0's.

Excellent, thats exactly what i needed, cheers mate. btw, what price do these usually carry, i got a quote from a parts shop who imports them for $nz500.

i got my hd extreme clutch and lightened chro-moly flywheel for under $700, the flywheel was about $350 trade price
