Yeah I would give RTA Technical and/or an RTA approved engineer a ring or email them in regards to it, I would use the fact that sedans are fitted with a V8 and the wagon was fitted with a V8 in AU wagon models, which is basically the same body, especially wagons.

Whether or not your master approves you should have a look to whether it is possible :wink:


The fact that the BA wagon didn't come out with a V8 is the hurdle I think the RTA will not be happy with, even though the AU did.


Actually I don't think they'll have a problem with it at all....it's just a wagon version of the exact same car. They'll probably ask why you haven't done it yet?


I would say the same thing, but if you have ever dealt with NSW RTA don't bet on it :?

I wonder what they picked it up for?
Many wreckers buying older wrecks work off what they can sell an engine for (eg. buy a car for $500 if they can sell the engine for about that), anything else is a bonus.
