I know, old topic, but i couldnt find what i needed.

so just a quick one,

i know for EFs that the K frame is unchanged between 6 and 8s, what about the steering rack? power steering lines i can imagine will need to change obviously, what else is there that needs to change hardware wise?

any links or suggestions will be handy.

cheers,
nic

Steering rack and lines are different. Cluster is different, ECU for obvious reasons, engine bay loom. Not sure if E Series V8's got a PS cooler but the AU did. Thats all I can think of apart from the gearbox.

k frame is the same but the top plate that bolts between the engine mount and block is different. EF/L dont normally run a PS cooler however the lines are different between i6 and V8

You can use the i6 steering rack with no probs V8 PS lines will bolt straight up
