The TCM in an EB is on the drivers side engine bay harness, not the dash harness. You'll need that harness complete. You remove the existing one entirely, get the replacement one through the firewall and you'll have two connectors that go over the pedal box, and allow the tcm to be mounted on the three studs on the side of the auto (v8) pedal box

Be carefull with which harness you get : EB I is different to EB II (EB1 puts cruise control ECU above the drivers feet, EB II puts cruise control ECU under the console)

Neither are any good, you need an EF Dash loom.

Sorry... only saw that the posters car was an EB so responded like.

The EF and EL dash looms are specific to the vehicle. EF one wont work with EF and vice versa.

And yes it gets harder if your using an EF/L ECU/TCM with an EB etc.

Ive done EB +TCM into XF, and EL 185kw +TCM conversions. As long as you have the right harness its plug and play

Oddly enough, I might. I stripped an EF XR8 a while back then transplanted the goodies into my EL.

If noone gets back to you, try me again (its buried in the shed, in a box, in case I want to put an EF ECU into my XF 5.0...

Its actually the behind the dash loom your after. Its on the inside of the cabin, but on the firewall and goes all the way across.

You'll need to pull the dash out. While its out, you can change the pedal box to the V8 one (EF and EL are the same, but you need the v8 one with TCM Mounts, or a way of mounting it (and zip ties have been used...)

You can change the harness without pulling the heater box so its not terrible from here. Hardest part from memory was doing section that goes to the D/S O2 Sensor and brake switches/cruise module.
