Are the V8 TCMs the same from EB through to EL? - and is it worth putting an EL V8 TCM in my EB?

As I recall, the shift strategys evolved in later models to include different lockup and shift, and in the GT adaptive shift.

Ideas folks?

For V8's it was only after the EL.

As the EL had adaptive shift in the GT I think (and later XR8's) im wondering.

The other one was Cluch lockup strategy : Post Ed locked up clutch in 3rd as well as 4th

Again, wondering if anyone knows if the swap is worthwhile

From what I read, different cars have different shift patterns depending on what it was. Luxury models would shift different from performance models etc.
