Ok here's my mate Tonys' off road buggy.
It started as a stock 302C that he pulled out of a ZK Fairlane.
It has two WRX turbos blowing through a 750 holley and Weiand x-cellerator and Tony made the headers and all other plumbing himself. This went great for some time until it sucked a piece of rag that was in the intake through it. It still went for a considerable time after that but Tony felt it was time to build the engine properly.
So now it has a 351 crank,302 rods and Hypatec forged pistons, rebuilt open chamber heads and a stock cam. The carb has been properly sorted and the boost retard unit is working properly.
I helped Tone tune the thing at gnangara pines when it was still the old 302 and, even when it was running bad it was bloody lethal! The big offroad tyres will spin in any gear at any speed. and now it's a 351!
