the whole thing in silver with a blue highlight would have been my choice .. woulda looked pimpin.. but none the less the blue matches the rubber ends on the intake pipe.

Did you sand back anything at all Primer etc ? I did mine in navy blue, but have decided to go with gloss black when I get off my a** to sand it back.

I thought of doing it all silver but I reckon that might have been to much, I'm going to brush in the lettering in blue so that might look alright.

no sanding, just a quick hit with some presolve and then some steel wool, gave it a coat, waited for it to touch dry and gave it another, waited for it to dry overnight and did the same then bolted it on and went for a drive to dry it with engine heat.

I think I will do the front shroud again though, I got a few runs down the front of it, got a bit impatient and it was only GOLO paint (the blue that is), but you can't tell in the photo.

the fun bit was actually cutting the plate to suit the cobra manifold, bits wanted to touch everywhere, the little dremel has never worked so hard, then I remember I had a grinder with a cutting disc
