I know it doesnt matter much but Im running 17deg BTDC on a EFI 5ltr with std E7 heads. Ive got an explorer which drops low rev VE's I assume due to the larger runners because I couldnt run this much advance with my HO.

northiam, with that cam you will want a lot of initial timing, around 16-20 deg but don't go crazy with the total. It will probably end up around 36-38 as a guide. What dizzy? are you running vac advance?
