You would probably be better off getting a crate motor, like a 347, from Ford Performance http://www.fordracingparts.com/crateengine/main.asp or similar. Bolt it in and go.

Dont you need proof that you own a FPV to be able to buy FPV parts?

a 347 isn't an FPV part.

15grand would get you driving a stock BA XR6 Turbo :)

Exxxxxactly !

Id Rather be driving a newer car than an older car that still will remain an older car no matter whats done to it.
No offence but yes whilst i agree your car at the moment looks nice, spending another 15 grand on it does not really mean you will get that money back when its time to sell it or get insurance claims etc.
In peoples eyes ( like myself ) i would rather spend 15 grand on a newer and potentially quicker car than buy an older done up car. Id say keep your car the way it is and buy a newer model.

Yes, very agreeable points. But if I got another car Id want a V8, and there out of my grasp. :(
If i were to sell how ever Id dont think Id get what I want for her.

Well imagine spending another 15 g's on her.

Im sure you can get hold of BA XT's or maybe fairmont V8's for that coin.

But if i was to get a V8 i would look at an AU III XR8. But..... Turbo six's are quicker than most stock V8's

AUII or AUIII XR8 for the win !!...... then go on the hunt for an AU Ghia black leather/woodgrain interior from the wreckers.

I bought an AU, not for its looks, but because it drove & felt like 1000% better car than my EF Fairmont that i spent soooo much money on.

Whilst i agree AU's especially the series 1 fortes dont look the nicest my old man has an AU II Ghia and it really does drive nice and is quite a good package.

Yeah I know what you guys are saying, my nana had an au11 forte that i learnt to drive in, and yes it was quite nice to drive but I hate everything about them. Interior and exterior are a shambles. Id cry going from the luxury I have now to an AU.

I have the V8, the leather the space for all passengers, plenty of room in the back seat ;)
Unless I got offered the right price I reckon Ill have her for quite a while.
