howdy all, putting car back togther atm, and i have this bracket, and i cant for the life of me remember where it comes from. i had it sitting in air box area, so i twill be somehere around there.
pic is included.

i should really stop drinking and working on car, i have a bad memory when i do that.

OMG :oops:

Its actually the lifting eye for removing/installing the engine. Should be located at rear of drivers side head :lol:

hmmm, well i have the lifting eye for the drivers rear. and it doesnt really look like that at all. theres only bolt holes. or are you saying that it bolts on the back of the lifting lug off the head?

i'll be done in shed shortly to check it out.

alright im still f**k.... where does it bolt onto on timing cover? anyone got a ropugh pic? i seriously cant remember seeing the damn thing.

Looking at the harmonic balancer from the FRONT of the engine it sit in about the 10-11 o'clock position right next to the balancer.
There is two small threaded holes there for it.

If you cant find it just use it as a lifting eye :lol: :lol:
