Yesterday GOOD FRIDAY I was going down King Georges Rd & I spotted another EB V8 FAIRMONT number plate MEANII.
I tromped me car a bit to get his attention and we lined up together, light went green he got the jump on me as I wasnt using the POWER SWITCH nor the shift kit as its DOUBLE DEMRITS and using those 2 devices will make me loose my LICENSE butmy point is as he autobox went into 2nd I saw HEAPS of WHITE SMOKE come from the exhuast so did this guy f**k his car in the process of racing me?

Thats often what happens when a head gasget is leaking...
He could however have a methanol / water injection kit on his car???With same result...

Sounds like a pretty lamo excuse for losing a drag to me!!!!!!! Just admit it...his car was quicker than yours, wasn't it?????

Just jokes.......I am sure you were just showing self restraint whilst not trying to lose your license...........and yet still drag racing on the street! How responsible of you! lol. ;-)

And yeah, sounds like steam from a blown head gasket or water injection. (Or for some reason a codia turbo I once came across blew very white smoke for having a blown turbo (are they oiled or water cooled as well?????)).

Well me car has better top end then bottom end due to the extractors so when I hit 2nd gear she is sitting on 95km-100km so that is loose ya license material

Not sure about the setup on an EB but an age old cause of white smoke can be if the tranny has a vacuum modulator or other vacuum line then when these items wear out it becomes possible to suck transmission fluid up the line. Even a moderate amount of fluid will cause S**T loads of white smoke when it is burnt in the engine.
