a boss 260 motor into an ed falcon how much of the strut tower needs to be chopped can anyone help cheers

Only thing you will need to chop is the bonnet, engine bay width is the same from EA to FG.

the other option is modify your bonnet to take the boss bulge

i think you will need a bigger bulge than the xr8 one. the barra motor requires the xr8 bulge most of the time when put in an e-series. now think about it, don't the xr8's have the bulge to fit the motor under the bonnet. i think you will need a huge bonnet bulge

maybe Ferntree gully auto salvage should attempt a Boss motor in an E-series and also try get it engineered
