I did a little VHT painting on my original engine cover ( in my gallery ) but haven't had it on the car in a while. I was going to do more but lost motivation.

Heres mine as it sits these days. Next on the list is the PWR header tank and possibly the PWR alloy radiator. Also will be getting some MSD leads pretty soon. Then i'll be looking at stripping the alternator, rebuilding it and polishing the housing and polishing both the alternator and powersteer/aircon brackets. Also got some ideas of some billet idler pullies going on with a mate of mine.

A bit of bling and a good scrub and polish goes a long way...

Yep the Explorers do look great polished. Yours would look sweet against the engine cover. Im not a big fan of the engine covers myself, but i do think you have done well with yours.

Mines just a polished piece of stainless. I would much prefer a stainless one than chrome. Its just one single 60deg mandrel bent piece of 3" stainless cut to suit.

Yeah mate, my exhaust guy made mine up. Then just used silicone hose joiners from Super Cheap or the likes.
