Hey saw this on ebay and was wondering how much modding would need to be done to fit this to a BA V8 mont, I know I'll need the FG box but i was planning on getting that anyway(was goin to get the factory snorkel aswell) Its just that its the cheapest ss induction I've seen and the ss for the BA mont is $480.

Instead of beating around the bush with SS Inductions crap and buying a FG airbox? Spend your money right the first time. The only cai i'd suggest to buy is the Bluepower one. Sounds great, makes the most power and looks factory.

Yeah but thats like $500 isn't it? If im spending that much id get a flash tune or something that would give me more bang for my buck

Bluepower cai will give you 15-20rwkw which can be more of a gain than a flash tune. And your best to have a good cai and exhaust before a tune to get best results and you wont have the need to get it retuned if you add cai/exhaust later on. Plus a custom tune is around about $1500.

Just depends if you're after power gains or you just got money to burn on minute power gains with the SS Inductions stuff.

15-20rwkw! Didn't think it would be that much thought maybe 5 at the most. Might get one after all.

:) That's why I wouldn't bother with SS Inductions, they'll only give you 5. The 3v V8's are very restrictive from factory, so airbox with 3" pipe to the throttlebody (there's a good home job one on Ford Forums I think for the pipe) and a good exhaust are huge gains! Mine was around 170rwkw stock and with just cai and exhaust went to 203rwkw.

Does the Blue power CAI include a bigger throttle body or is just a bit of pipe and plastic? Was planing on trying to make my own, 3' stainless pipe with a pod filter on the end of it and a home made box.
