Just took possesion of my AU xr8 today.

I think i may have bought a freak.

Is it usual for them to completely break traction in 2nd and 3rd gear?

after about 3 grand is showing it instantly starts screaming up to the redline. It's almost too hard to grab enuf gears!

I am more than happy with my purchase!!!

Cant wait to go on a few crusies with u guys

God i love V8's

very nice!
an au xr8 in manual should be a nice spirited ride for sure, i could break traction going from 1st to 2nd in the fbt no dry road with the tres it came with, not anymore but..
My rear ones are wearing down now, at the lights i can feel them giving way under normal take offs again, doh!

Perhaps it has a rather high diff ratio... or maybe a supercharger you failed to notice?

No doubt about it - she's a beauty.

Many years of windsor-powered motoring to look forward to!
