What manifold does the EDXR 220kw Sprint have?
The ELII185kw?

It has the gt40/cobra style manifold, which is very similar in flow to the explorer (el series 2 manifold) you already have.

It was actually different to them all.. It was an experimental manifold before the Cobra Mustang engine to which the Sprint engine bassically is...
Ford used these developement manifolds on the Sprint... The difference between Sprint manifolds and Cobra ? Is the Sprint has seperate EGR like the H.O manifolds...The Cobra didn't have coolant through EGR also...

so for example an EB2XR8 is 165kw? only diff being the manifold to the EL2XR8 185kw?
can we still get these Sprint type manifolds anywhere?

Different intake, different ECU, different camshaft (I'm told), better flowing exhaust...

Explorer intake and ELGT headers bump the stock HO to 185kw.
The Cobra intake is still available and has identical ports to a Sprint intake internally. The Explorer intake has the same port configuration but the ports taper more at the port face to improve low end torque for use on Explorers.
