hi guys bored and thought i would post an update about my build   see this thread http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46650
currently in panel shop .. getting 12k worth of paint down.. custom colour brandy wine and candy apple red over silver. had the irs conversion and brake package engineered
330mm rotors and custom full floating hubs made up to au offset with pbr twin piston cailpers and braided lines

if any one interrested in a set can do them with exchange spindles for $1900 to suit ea to el but with au offset only (which means au rims and tyres) and min 17" rims and yes can have them to ya door in 5 days after payment with everything to bolt them straight in including new bearing and seals !!!!!!!!

the engine is about to go to westend to get 347 stroker kit machined up
gunna run alloy heads and trick flow mainfold and 75mm throttlebody and custom billet egr spacer with comp cams stroker cam from states and heaps more goodies from the states 90mm maf and stuff like that hopefully done by christmas !!! see the strip pics

did ya still want me to do a write up on the irs conversion?? :?:

Will be looking good indeed.

A write up would be great on the motor. What sort of heads will she be running? Trickflow, Edelbrock, AFR??

will be interesting indeed, Hope it goes smoothly.

I'm interested in a IRS conversion write up mate. Sounds like a tough engine too, what manual are you running?

Was this reply meant for me :D

Please do the doco, plus pictures if you have them, I took heaps of pictures of Macxr8's IRS and the camera somehow wiped most of them.

Do you have pictures of the 330mm brake and Au offset conversion.

I see you did get carried away, it looks like you cut out part of a EF/EL floor and welded it in for floor handbrake? Got details on this as well?

In general keep us updated

My hat goes off to ya - I have always had a soft spot for the EB/ED series - this will be a true beast when finished. Looking forward to some painted pics.

You sell the brakes?
The caliper and rotor - what are they off?
