hi guys im a 13 year old boy from brisbane and i have been saving up for my whole life to buy an xb falcon. I bought the car for $1200.00 which i thought was a rip off.The car came with gt guages including the 7 grand tacho but i want to try to make it a replica without spending too much money because it is kind of hard when you dont have a job so all it needs is a gt steering wheel and gt fuel cap. so if anyone has or knows where one of them or both are that would be cheap or even free can you email me or post back please.

Good stuff mate, keep saving your money until parts show up. Plenty of time before you can drive it and xb parts not that easy to come by. Chuck up a pic and let us see what you got for your money.

good start mate, wish i found my xr when i was 13.....
fuel caps are selling on ebay from about $80 ea upwards too, the steering wheels u will be lucky to find one under $500 in good condition, ebay too keep an eye out on the local papers and ring around the wreckers, sometimes they dont know what theyre worth. i found an xy gt steering wheel at self serve wreckers for $17.50, and found an xb one at another wreckers for $35. sometimes u can get lucky.... |

Looks good, XBs are a tough first car
 Are you after any other parts? I know of a few people who are looking to sell some stuff, nothing special or in above average condition.

some other items i am looking for are: xb front indicators, blank steering column, brown drivers seatbelt stalk, driving light inserts, two 8'' or 7'' 12 slotters, xb front window, xb stone tray, xb windscreen wipers, pre crossflow extractors and thats about it.

I may be able to get a hold of the following: Pre-Xflow exhaust manifold Front indicators (left one may be damaged from a crash) Steering column (are you after the whole thing including the part that goes tot eh steering box?) Drivers seat belt Windscreen wipers Windscreen Most of those are probably in bad shape or too damaged to bother with though, and they're also in Tasmania, so freight will be a killer.. I can find out about the parts if you want, let me know what you're interested in freight wise and I'll find out a price and condition.

hi thanks for looking and how much would it cost to send just the wipers, indicators, drivers seatbelt stalk and just the blank steering column surround not the whole thing to brisbane qld 4160.

I'm not too sure, it'll depend on the weight and what size package. As I said in the PM I'll call the guy with the parts in the next couple of days and see about them. I'll keep you posted mate.

hey mate. my mech has a few parts for xbs, also has a 73 model xb for sale as well, anyways he is hr south form brisbane, if ya interested in some parts pm cheers
