Hi all,
I recently bought a xh xr8, and a couple of months later i start to wonder, how do i tell if it is original or just a xh with xr8 front end, dash and stearing wheel. the badge in engine bay sais xh falcon ute, the engine numbers match up with everything, it has windsor with tickford badge stuck on it. any ideas? cheers guys! |

Matey, if you go to this site and look up your VIN you will find out what sort of vehicle it was when it left the factory http://www.etis.ford.com/home.do |

Thats a cool site....
Just found out mine was built on Wednesday 19th March It also listed all the options as well (or lack of)

Yeah cool site, mine was built 26/11/96 a day after my birthday, and lists I have a passenger air bags ?

Matey, if you go to this site and look up your VIN you will find out what sort of vehicle it was when it left the factory http://www.etis.ford.com/home.do Very handy! I suppose all EBXR8s would say (High Power) next to, engine type v8? My electric windows seem to be factory (no holes in the xr doortrims), my xr rear seat has headrests and the fuel comp/clock looks factory wired but none of these are listed. To what extent were options fitted at the dealer?
