Has it just got the Carby 250 Crossflow that most X Series Ute's had in them? If so I'd be making it go a little faster before other exterior mod's..
All xf utes and vans were carby there was no efi introduced to the utes and vans until the model XG!!!

post some pictures up mate, If you are not in any rush it coud be a great time to learn how to respray yourself, you can do a class with tafe for the basics and learn heaps!
I always done the cheaper mods first to my utes such as -
* get it tuned and make sure its running right
* Pull the stock lights apart and clean them right up -
* fit the XH curvy rear view mirrors - $200
* Lower it! - $280
* pAint my dash and door trims & fit carpet.
* Detail the a*** clear out of the ute.

go from there, but if you really need a respray asap, befriend a panel beater asap! haha.
good luck

do the stuff you can do first and save for the expensive stuff.
