Hi,
I have a '91 XF Ute. Currently the only mod is the Ghia dash, the rest is stock and the paint is a very happy yellow.

My plan for the upgrade is pretty much this:
*XR6 Headlights
*Performance Tail lights
*Something sexy on the bonnet
*XG Grille
*12 Slotters
*New Exhaust
*Shinny Blue or Purple paint job
*And depending on how much money I have left, a hard tonneau cover.

Once all that is done I will think about the interior.

What do you all think?

What condition is the yellow? If it's any good just put a pearl over the top. Not like there's that many yellow vehicles around, would be something different, also cheaper than a respray and colour change.

Yeah, I thought about keeping it yellow. I donno, maybe. I would have to get the new lights, bonnet ect, sprayed yellow too and it could be difficult matching the right colour.

I will be sure to keep you guys posted, although it may take a bit longer than I first thought. It is going to cost me over $800 just to replace the lights!

Hardtops look good but create problems. I wanted a hardtop but rollbar fitment is more difficult. Also if you happen to go somewhere and someone has something like, say an engine and you want it but you have to take it now, it won't fit under the hardtop........Good for security tho. Keep us posted with pics

Has it just got the Carby 250 Crossflow that most X Series Ute's had in them? If so I'd be making it go a little faster before other exterior mod's..
