Haha we had a nissan xf falcon (actually made by nissan I think) not sure how many there are out there, they could be quite rare one day, ours was a ute, driving it you can't tell the difference between the ford and the nissan-just as good a work horse as the ford.

The Nissan (XF) ute was simply a rebadge of the XF ute. Reason you can't tell the difference is that it was a FORD.

Ok what was the reason behind it?-had nissan steering wheel +all the body badges and a few other subtle difference s, so did they rebadge them from new?

They were done from new. Ford got the Mavrick (Patrol).

Alot of rebadging was done through the 90's.

Toyota Camry - Holden Apollo.
Toyota Corolla - Holden Nova.
Dunnydoor - Lexcen.
Nissian Pulsar - Holden Astra.

Mazda to Ford (but Ford being part owned of Mazda.

The list goes on.

Hello,

Nissan got the Panel Van also I think, and don't forget the Pintara, it was also sold with a Ford badge. Corsair or some such name.
