i have a 1977 xc fairmont gs wagon
white totally original / no rust / 1owner + me 302 auto elec tailgate /antenna tow bar driving lights 160km from new roof rack factory 12 slots p/strg immculate orginal interior any body have any idea what i should insure it for ???????

what you paid for it would be a good starting figure - unless you got it at a reasonable price, in that case add a bit onto it

XC wagon with a 302 for $750 in the Trading Post down here a little while ago. Dunno condition or anything.
With old cars there's no set figure, varies greatly on the location of the car, type, condition, etc. |

If its all mickey mouse and in terrific condish, i'd either get it looked at by NRMA inspection ( racv etc ) or just have a look around at similar vehicles on carsales.com etc, there would have to be at least 5 to 7K in it maybe even more to the right person.

a XC Fairmont GS Wagon u say? damn they must be pretty rare, id say about $5000 - 7500, but i dont know too much about older cars...
