Im the newest member to the x-series. I have just bought a 1987 XF EFi Falcon.
I want to know how to install a pod filter to it. I ask this because the air box is in a wierd position and i have no idea how to run a pipe from the air flow meter to the front of the engine bay.
Cheers Mark

A pod filter on that is going to be very very hard to do, unless you change over to an EA/B computer and sensors.

Youd need to remove the MAF sensor (the alloy brick on the top of your airbox) and attach that to the pod filter somehow.

Or.. Run LPG, and remove the computer completely!

the efi looks like a twister tunnel in setup.
it's almost pointless doing it unless you go aftermarket, although i would have attempted adapting it in a custom box if i had kept my xf.

personally though, i reckon the air filter is the least of your problems..... take a look at the side of the inside of the AFM... compared to the TB, its f**k tiny
