I put a 5 speed in my xh ute with a new clutch and pressure plate ect but I can't seem to get enough adjustment with the cable.. So the clutch keeps slipping.. Any ideas??

Did you use a BRAND new cable? did you replace the clutch cable clevis and bushes? is the bush in the end of the clutch lever ok? Look at all of that first.

Ok I put new bushes on the clutch pedal shaft because they were worn nd a new cable and it's working beautiful thanks for your help.. Cheers

I put a new cable on a few months ago and I have been adjusting it every few weeks. It drives me crazy. When I push the clutch pedal in, the entire firewall moves!! Don't know what to do about that!!
No help but I hear ya. :x

falcons are notorious for cracking the firewall mate, probably needs to be welded up and while your there make sure to fit a fire wall strenthener plate to make sure it doesnt happen again
