Hi all,
I need to reassemble my XH donor ute, as we may have a buyer for it (yay!) but I need a bit of good old Fordmods help. The original XH dash has a bit of damage, mainly around the glove box mounting area and the bottom corners on each side. This is common damage in the old xd to xf dashs, and I have 2 or 3 good XF dashes here, but I need to know if I can use the XF dash "frame" and fit all the XH bits into it, to make a good dash that will fit back into the XH ute.
Anyone know for sure if this will work?
Do I need to cut or mod anything?
The dash pads look very similar, the heater box and controls look alike, the glove box and rh lower dash panel are the same, so I'm hoping Ford did the smart thing and just used the XF dash with the XH stuff bolted on.
Thanks guys. 8-)

Yep - XF dash back is the same (mostly) across the range. Very monor changes included I think for XG/H adding an Diagnostics connector near the bonnet release (im sure you can work around that).

How many spares you got? - may be interested in one as a side project for my XF?

I know I have at least 2 complete (ish) XF dashes, and maybe 1 XE unit, not sure of condition. What do you need?
