well guys after cutting and soldering some 70 odd wires and trying my best ,the XH lives . it started first pop ,no winding it over . no codes . the only thing is the door locks will not unlock or lock with the key , i took out the FORD electic locks and put in aftermarket ones which work when i push or pull the button on the door ,but not when i use the key . any idears ? are the door locks diffrent between c/locking doors and non c/locking doors ? i would have thouht you you could unlock the car with the key no matter what . thanks guys ..

Did you disconnect the door locks when you changed the Central locking mechanisms over?

Does the key turn around at all? - or not

Top work on the wiring though - Awesome result.
