Ride: EL XR6 5spd

Hi All. Been a while since i've posted here.

I'm looking at doing work on a ZJ fairlane, the current suspension in it is ok (I think, not been on the road for a couple years). Just wondering what the options are. ie what's interchangeable with X series in general. Shocks/springs especially. Also were any of the Z fairlane's coil rear spring? Are leaf> coil spring conversions conceivable.

Cheers

The options are many! all XR -XD front coils and shocks are interchangeable depending on preference, rears would be leaf springs, yes? and Fairlane springs are longer than Falcon sedans , but are the same as utes and Station Wagon, which give you some optiond for heavier springs. Coils didn't appear till XE/ZK models and I don't think it is even worth contemplating that!
