well after reading many threads i came up with this airbox mod,
i'm only 15 but done this mod for my dads car,and didnt have the right tools only used the drill, a knife, lighter and a rubber mullet. but still managed it,first i got the bottom half of the airbox which was a spare one so didn't care if i f**k it up,well first of all i cut the hole out on the airbox on da side picture below...
<a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i40.tinypic.com/hstjsy.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

then i though i wanted to do somethign different not just cut a hole so i got a rubber that belongs to a airbox and somthing that was like a brackt which the rubber fitted on perfect,i then melted the middle of it(this bracket i made up was froma suby box for the cables LMAO,anywais melted the middle looked somthing like this after i done that part...

<a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/11qh3dj.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

havnt yet stuck it on to the airbox but will look something like this, couldnt put it on the car yet because my dad is at work pictures of how it wil look finished... <a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i39.tinypic.com/i5cbxu.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

That will never fit back into the car mate. You have a 3in flexi pipe coming out of the fender side of the airbox. You have only about 1/2 inch gap between the airbox sidewall and passenger fender to start with.

Better tell your old man, before you cut a hole into the passenger fender to fit that pipe.

Done all the experimenting and this is the best idea I have come up with so far.
No point re-inventing the wheel eh!
