ive got the wire that goes into instrument cluster for the ea but there was no temperature gauge wire in the ef instrument cluster just wondering if i done something wrong or if there is a way i can hard wire the gauge straight to the temp sender unit????

To run the EL cluster you need the EL ecu running the car i beleive, as it gets its pulse from the ecu for some readings.

How did you convert the wiring?

and

Are you running an EL ecu already?

um nah im running everything still ea series 1 i basically just cut off the ea plugs and attatched all the el plugs so far everything works except the temp gauge i didnt bother changing the ecu and engine to el because im going au engine and all so yer ill just have to buy a temp gauge or sumin for now
