Sounds reasonable given it's a warm day and as stated, a fully loaded auto. Did you stall it up ?
And how did you measure it ? |

| never doen 0-100 but 0-191km/h in 33 seconds roughly, using the stopwatch on the trip computer. that was just a one off try. |

| the fastest I got my EF auto from 0-100 was 7.65s and consistantly around 8s. But to put this in perspective it was between 0-5 deg celcius I had about 80k's of fuel and I didnt stall the converter. Dont bother its not worth it. You can only stall it to about 1800rpm anyway and it wont make a consistant difference. Shift kits only feel like they are making a difference, but it didnt effect my times. Extractors and an exhaust didnt do much either only about 0.25s. I did my measurement with a stop watch and did it over about 3 weeks and about 40-50 time trials. |

If anything, it seems a second or so slow - altho its got 70L of fuel and 70kg of driver with the slushomatic left in D on a hot day, really isnt THAT *bad*, try it again on a cooler night with empty fuel n tell us how you go, as most of us who have timed the cars and can compare them do it this way.
I hav no clue what mine does, either cars. |

Thanks guys, big help. It was a pretty rough test, i was doing some photography after my new wheels investment on an empty back road next to a dam. id already been driving 30 mins so the temp was right up there and i just decided to give it a run. I used my trusty old nokia as the precise timing instrument. Mite give it a second go in the winter nights and see what happens then
Thanks

| According to an online calculator based on my 1/8th mile times, my 5 speed EL with a cat back system, does 0-100 in 7.06seconds. |

| Added extra Weights such as Fuel Loads etc makes a lot of noticable difference as well. I get 8.4Secs for 0-100 with 3/4 tank of fuel and me in at 98kg. Sitting on 1/4 left of fuel and I get Easy 8.1 Secs |

For some reason my car really responds well when the oil presure is high and on petty or LPG its roughly the same 0-100 time however petty revs out harder and faster.
My car atm feels faster than when i bought is as i belive there were a few things that needed to be fixed/serviced at time of purchase.
Clocked a very good 8.014 last night weather must have been perfect for her. |
