if you take away the dvd drive it should be fine.
otherwise you will need to drop a processor (ie celeronish) to save on power / cooling. |

| If its a dell PSU you should be fine because they grossly under rate their power supply units. |

| I wouldn't do it, you're just asking for data loss and lots of crashes as soon as you put a load on the computer... I would consider a decent 300watt psu to be the minimum for that system |

data loss could be the least of your worries....but yeah for $30ish bucks i wouldnt risk it....If your gear doesnt get another juice than components will let go after a while ie the crashes will occur...but even that if your stuff keeps requesting too much voltage consistently and manages to stay up it can fault the PSU even to the point it stores a bit of current then spikes back at ya box and then say goodbye to most of the internals ... dont risk it some amount spent now will save loads of $$$ many profanities and hair pulling later on. |

| If it's for a car computer, i'd consider instead using laptop internals or a mini-itx motherboard. 145W would be asking for trouble. |

I use one of these, and it's under rated too. Runs a very beefy system. |

| problem is that a standard ATX PSU wont fit in this case, im just gonna find a P3/celeron 1G or an equivelant athalon/duron and a suitable mobo on ebay (probably athalon since its upgrade path isnt dead) |
