I wanna know if you can do the mod and still keep the High series bonnet. I like the hump in the bonnet and the grille on the EF Ghia

You ever compared the insurance prices for an XR or a fairmont V8? It'll make you think twice. |

| i think there is nothin wrong with added xr or fairmont/fairlane features to standard falcons as long as u dont claim /label its as anything but a falcon |

it depends on how much money you want to spend you can buy the whole lot for around $1500 second hand from a wrecker and have everything you need tomorrow, or you can do what fraser and i did we kinda shopped around abit for parts, i was lucky to get my front bar for $200 with a tickford skirt on it, but i had to buy new headlight ($620) got em cheapo for new it takes a whiloe to collect all the parts worth it in the end though. |

Thats probably the best thing to do, slowly add things up over time and get it cheap as possible. |

being over here in WA though, you'll struggle to get all the parts - you'd almost be better off just getting it from the guys @ FTG in one hit. you pretty much never see any parts for sale over here not cool! |

i reakon you should save up an buy a real xr... what i say is "you buy the car for how it looks like" but not performance wise thought... always upgrade the performance lol |

if any one wants to know you can wash the roof lining with some omo and cold water, i have done it to the ef, i hanged it from the veranda on its side and hosed it down with a gentle stream sprinkle some omo and rub with your hands use a soft brissle brush if u have to, then hose down again, leave there to dry in bright sunlight for abt a day, have some kinda backin like mine was against a wall.
the xr front looks good. |

I've got an EL XR front bar, but can't seem to find the lights/indicators cheap.
Looking at that pic makes me want to throw it on.
I just offloaded an ef xr front bar with kit for $200 (slightly damaged). |
