Hi i added a trip[ computer to my EBII 5ltr everything is working great BUT the INST L/100km When i turn the ignition on it says 1 when i start the car it says 99 when i start to drive the car it seems normal when i stop again it goes to 99 again. Should it be on 0 or 1 if the car is stoped.
I hope somone can help. |

| mine does the same dont worry about it. i dont think it can give an accurate reading wen it is standing still |

| Its instananeous consumpotion, how many litres of fuel its using that second. Of course it flaxuates, Ive had mine at about 140 before. |

Kewl thanks pl and while im at it can somone pls tell me what the brown wire does it says it is for lights but i hooked it up and it isnt working.
Like when i turn my lights on it dont light the computer up well i think that is what it is meant to do. |

He added it himself (read the title).
Brown wire is the dimmer wire I belive, so when you turn your headllights on its dims down, like the headlights do. |

Yo twirqurky where does it say he added his trip computer himself the title has nothing to do with him adding a trip computer.
An i am sure that my headlights are not meant to dim only from hight beam to low. not with the dimmer switch but thankyou i know what you mean. )) |

If it came stock, then why is he adding it?
If it came stock, why does he need help?
It doesnt explicitly say jhe is adding tit, I interpretted it as he had.
When you turn your headlights on, the clock/trip computer and your odo reading dim to make it easer on the eyes in the darkness. |
