I'm installing an alarm into the Mont soon and was wondering where other people had located the flashing LED in their EF/EL dash?
I'm thinking about putting it in the switch bezel between the rear demist and antenna height buttons, but I remember there being an unused plug clipped there so it may not be possible. |

| I got my alarm professionally installed, and they positioned the LED on the right of the steering wheel, near the boot/fuel release button - although i do have an AU so yeah... This way, when thieves are at the drivers door about to break in, they can clearly see it. |

Mine is between the demister and aerial switches. Seriously can't be a better spot.. I just drilled through the unused clip part, I'm a perfectionist so it took me a while but yeah, you get the idea. |

A mate has an EF falcon and his is mounted in the spot next to the rear demist button. Good spot too, you can see it from all places around the car.
Mine is mounted as part of the paging transponder and is stuck to the front windscreen in the top right hand corner, only good if you are approaching the vehicle from the front. |

| The idea is to be seen from outside the car. Not looked for. |

| Darin, i reckon you're on the right track mate. Ive only got a pov-pack dash but my bezel still had spare clip provisions. i just drilled a hole where i needed a switch and dremeled all of the plastic crap on the back out of the way. |

| Thanks for the replies guys. I will look at putting it into the bezel when I install it. I think its one of the most highly visible spots to anyone peering through the windows. |
