i've seen them on:
1975 XB GT hardtop
1982 ZJ fairlane
1980 XD Ghia
1983 XE GL ex taxi.....
any idea what cars they were originally intended for, or how rare they are? |
Not sure about pre XD, but they were factory keys for XD/XE, but I haven't seen them in a XF onwards.
They wore out so bad that sometimes you could pull them back out of the ignition when turned to on position.
Best keys to use to jiggle to get into (the harder part) and start (easier part) a X series you don't have a key for. |
